Synchronisation between OneNoteWeb, OneNoteApp (PC+Mobile) is very slow sometimes which makes it seem something hasn't worked but in reality you have to wait (and/or sync manually). The factor that closing NBs does not mean deleting NBs makes it even more complex and error-prone.

NBs are not stored as "normal files" in "normal folders" but only as links to OneDrive, this makes things so difficult.

I am currently in the process of doing the above with all my NBs and I hope I got it right. I hope this solution helps other users with the same problem.
